Disadvantages of nowadays spacer machine:

  • Many clusters , i.e. condensed spacer
  • After spraying, the repeatability is not good due to the unstable of spacer density

The reason of the formation of clusters :

Because of the materially attraction of spacer, the spacers inside the solvent will concentrate and become clusters.

In order to prevent the formation of spacer cluster in the semi-dry (wet) type spacer, not only the machine but also the whole system have been newly developed.

We have developed Xeving spray Type IWS - High Speed Spacer spraying dispersion adjusting machine ING Series. For a better dispersion performance, the control of the mixture of the spacer solvent is very important. So a dispersion unit is added to the nozzle to improve the solvent.

This new spacer spray machine:

  1. Using a new type moveable nozzle, minimize the condensation of spacer (less clusters)
  2. Good dispersion of spacer for the spacer solvent
  3. Lower IPA ratio can be used for the mixture of IPA and DI water and hence the danger of exposure can be reduced
  4. Using a new spraying method - the pulse spray method:
    No cluster of spacer will occur
    Can always keep cleaning the nozzle
    prevent the cluster of spacer in the tube
  5. Can spray 3£g spacer
  6. With high speed spraying - 350 pcs / mm2
  7. Have high-speed dispersion-mixing system which enable to make good dispersion type spacer solvent within a short period of time.

Merits:

  1. Carry out the spacer spraying in a closed area
  2. Very simple method, no need to use ultra sonic
  3. Can matching with difference nozzles
  4. Very short time for spraying
